Material: Wool with goat hair warp
Origin: Boujaad, Middle Atlas
A vintage Boujaad with stripes in flat weave and three bands of pile knotted protective symbols. The color palette is sunset-like, orange, purple, faded reds and pinks. It sports a nice brown sawtooth border on the sides and the loose goat hair warp leaves an interesting edge. This carpet is a testimony to the durability of traditional Moroccan carpets and is well suited in a large living room or bedroom, even an outdoor space. Indeed one can see that the sun has faded it over the years. In good condition despite fading and irregular edges, flat weave and short pile bands, unbraided goat hair fringe intact.
